Privacy policy
Last updated November 1, 2026
In short: we never ask for your name or phone number. The only thing you can type in is your email address, if you want one reminder when our licensed agents are back (and guide updates, only if you tick that box). We keep that address to send what you asked for, never sell it, and don't share it with the call network or insurance companies. We use an ad measurement pixel and call tracking to learn which ads lead to calls. When you call, the call network's system receives your phone number, and the call may be recorded. You can turn off ad measurement in this browser below.
This policy covers Kitchen Table Guide, run by Card Gallery NC LLC ("we", "us"). It explains what happens to information when you visit the site and when you call the number on it.
What we collect when you visit
- Basic visit data. Like every website, our host receives your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for and the time. We use this to run and secure the site.
- Ad and campaign tags. If you arrive from an ad, the web address can include tags such as utm_source or an ad click id (fbclid from Meta, gclid from Google). We keep these in your browser for that visit and attach them to the events below.
- Taps on the call button. When you tap or click a call button, we record that it happened, which button, the time, and the tags above.
- The policy finder. Your answers to the 3 questions on our finder page stay in your browser and are gone when you leave the page. We don't store them or send them anywhere. We only record that someone finished the finder.
Email reminders
When our phone line is closed, you can ask for one email when the licensed agents are back. It's optional, and the form asks only for an email address. We never ask for a phone number.
- What we store: your email address, when you signed up, whether you also ticked the box for guide updates, which version of the sign-up wording you saw, the page you signed up on, the ad campaign tags from your visit (such as utm_source), a random code for your unsubscribe link, and when we sent the reminder.
- Why: to send the one reminder you asked for, with the phone number and hours. We send guide updates only if you ticked that separate box.
- Stopping misuse: to block automated sign-ups, we keep a scrambled code made from your IP address (a salted one-way hash that changes every day), never the IP address itself, and we delete it after one day.
- Who handles it: the list is stored in Cloudflare's database service, and the email is sent by Resend, our email provider. They process it only to run this service for us.
- What we never do: we don't sell your email address, and we don't share it with the call network, insurance companies, agents or advertisers. We don't send it to Meta or Google. When you sign up, we may tell our ad measurement tools that a sign-up happened, without your address.
- How long: 24 months from when you signed up, or until you unsubscribe, whichever comes first. Unsubscribing deletes your address from our list.
- How to unsubscribe: use the unsubscribe link in any email from us, or email contact@kitchentableguide.com and we'll remove you.
Meta Pixel and other ad measurement
We use the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta Platforms, Inc. It uses cookies (such as _fbp and _fbc) and sends Meta the pages you view on this site, taps on the call button, that someone finished the policy finder or signed up for an email reminder (never the answers or the email address), your IP address, browser details and the ad click id. Each event carries an event id. We may also send the same events to Meta from a server (the Meta Conversions API) with the same event id, so Meta does not count them twice. Meta uses this to measure our ads and to show ads to people likely to find them useful. Meta's own data policy applies to what Meta receives.
If we run Google ads, we may use the Google Ads tag in the same way, under Google's privacy policy.
We may also use a click tracker (RedTrack) that records the ad click and gives it a click id, so we can match calls to ads.
Call tracking
The phone number on our guide is a tracking number that our call network issues through the Ringba call platform. The number shown to you may be different from the number shown to someone else, so a call can be matched to the visit and ad that led to it. When you call, the call network's system receives your phone number (caller ID), the time and length of the call, how the call ended, and the tags from your visit. We can see these call records in the network's reports.
Call recording
Calls may be recorded by the call network and by the insurance agency that answers, for quality, compliance and billing. You will hear a notice at the start of the call. Recordings are kept by the call network and the agency under their own policies. We may listen to some recordings through the network's reports to check call quality and to settle billing questions.
The agent you talk to
The licensed agent who answers works for a separate insurance agency. What you tell the agent, such as your age, state and health answers, is collected by that agency under its own privacy policy, not ours. Ask the agent for it.
How we use and share information
- To measure which ads and pages lead to calls, and to improve them.
- To count calls and get paid by the call network, and to settle billing questions.
- To send the email reminder you asked for, and guide updates if you ticked that box.
- With service providers that run the site, the email reminders (Cloudflare and Resend), the click tracker and analytics for us.
- With Meta and Google as described above. Some state laws call this "sharing" or "targeted advertising". You can opt out below.
- When the law requires it, or to protect our rights.
We do not sell your personal information for money.
Your privacy choices
Ad measurement status appears here when JavaScript is on.
- If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as an opt-out and do not load the Meta Pixel or the Google Ads tag.
- The choice above is saved in this browser only. Clearing your browser data resets it.
- You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and change your ad preferences in your Meta and Google accounts.
How long we keep it
We keep click and call records for as long as we need them for billing, disputes, tax and legal records, and no longer than [RETENTION PERIOD]. Email reminder sign-ups are kept for 24 months or until you unsubscribe, as described above.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to correct or delete it, and to opt out of targeted advertising. Email contact@kitchentableguide.com and we will respond within the time the law requires. We don't collect names. To find a call record, we may need your phone number and the date of your call. To find an email sign-up, tell us the address.
Children
This site is for adults. It is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes and contact
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. Questions: contact@kitchentableguide.com, or write to Card Gallery NC LLC, 4214 West Wendover Ave #1012, Greensboro, NC 27407.
