Our guides are general information about how insurance products work. They are not insurance, legal, tax or financial advice, and they are not an offer to sell insurance. Rules and products vary by state and by insurance company. Before you buy, read the policy and ask the agent your questions.

We don't sell insurance

Kitchen Table Guide is not an insurance company, insurance agency or agent. When you call the number on our guide, a licensed insurance agent at a separate agency answers. That agency and the insurance companies it represents are responsible for their quotes, advice, applications, policies and decisions. We don't decide whether you can get coverage or what it costs.

How we're paid

We are paid by a call network when you call. Our advertising disclosure explains how.

Accuracy

We work to keep our guides accurate and we date them. Information can change, and we can't promise that every detail is complete or current. If you find a mistake, please tell us.

Calls

Calls may be recorded for quality and compliance. Agents answer only during the hours shown on the guide.

We link to other websites, such as government consumer guides. We don't control them and are not responsible for them.

Use of the site
